He is with his wife Emily and son William H. (1) 10th October 1875, he married Emily Copps at St. Mary-the-Virgin, Dover, Kent. 1893 when with Wanderers Lodge his address is 6 St. Marks Terrace, New Brompton. In 1901, he is living at 39 Wellesley Road, Colchester. Recorded as a Clerk of Works at the War Department, but must have soon moved to 12 Claudius Villas, Claudius Road, Colchester by 1903, when he joined Comrades Lodge.
